on the futility of grand theory

We always want to know Why. Why? Why do we want to know why? Can’t we be content with a non-answer, accepting things the way they are without explanation? The world goes round, things happens…who cares. There is no inherent meaning in things, events, etc.

Just accept reality for what it is and that is all. Don’t invent complex theories to explain something that is unexplainable. You will only find yourself trapped in a web of conflicting concepts. Tao Te Ching speaks of the danger and futility of using concepts to encapsulate the truth.

Just live and you’ll be fine.

About

I guess you could say this is the "Original Pime". I stopped blogging here regularly in May 2008 (if you don't count the B-Sides diversion - yes it gets confusing) when I joined the Tumblr revolution. Going forward bravely into 2009, this site will serve to house any large image work I produce.

Peace out.
