weekend forecast: outta here!

we're heading up to the Bay Area this weekend on a quick one hourplane ride. Surprisingly the sun is forecasted to be out in full force but with temperatures suited for long sleeves and a light jacket...

We were going to rent a car and drive up the Northwest coast all the way to Seattle but bailed on that idea due to the cost. Maybe next year. So it's a short little escape from the Orange Curtain for now.

Thanks to this nifty list I'll be able to hunt down pubs showing the World Cup (nothing better than drinking a pint for breakfast). Besides going to Alcatraz, having tacos in the Mission District, and loitering on Telegraph St. for awhile, anyone got any suggestions on what I should see/do up there?
