I relish and cringe at the same time in response to the hypocrisy of individuals who stray from their established roles...like the "impartial" judge who takes bribes, the narcotics cop who supports his drug habit with the loot he's confiscated, the rogue veterinarian who abandons his role of promoting animal health and welfare...
what does this prove? that occasionally we individuals must break free from the bonds that these societal roles impose upon us. or that some individuals are less disciplined than other at maintaining consistency between what they practice and what they preach.
